“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” — Albert Einstein
So, which way do you live your life?
We have been taught that miracles are unusual happenings and have been brought about by a special few people over time. Actually, that’s not true.
Everything in life is a miracle. Some miraculous energy beats my heart and breathes me – you, too. That same miraculous energy allows us to walk and live comfortably on this earth – some call that miracle gravity. The list of everyday miracles is very, very long. I’ve written other posts on this subject. As Einstein says: “everything is a miracle.” I expect the reason he said this is because, as a scientist, he knew what is not known – only theorized. He came to the place where he saw the miracle.
How about other kinds of miracles? Experiences in the other than material world? Intuition, energy healing, psychic phenomenon and any other happenings that don’t fit our normal view of reality? Are they miracles? Maybe they are abilities we all possess – parts of us that have become dormant – or not conscious. The Catholic Church, especially during the Inquisition, did a number on humanity. We haven’t yet recovered. We haven’t yet re-claimed our miraculous selves.
The truth is we know practically nothing about this world we live in – from a scientific perspective. And, yet, inside each of us we know everything. Once we choose to experience life as love, spirit, creator, source – or whatever word you like to name the unnamable – then we are consciously at one with the miracle that is our life.
Then we easily see “everything is a miracle.”
