To those of us who follow astrology the Cardinal Grand Cross is a big deal. It has been in place since December, 2013 and will remain in place through April, 2014 and somewhat into May, 2014. I wrote a detailed post about it here.

On Sunday, March 30, the Sun and Moon will be conjunct (right next to each other in the sky) – a New Moon. New Moons happen every month and are thought by astrologers to mark new beginnings. Time to stop, take stock and see if anything in your life needs to change. Sometimes beginnings are preceded by endings. There is a kind of potential course correction with each New Moon, every month.

This particular New Moon is aligned with the Cardinal Grand Cross and, therefore, thought to be a potential quantum leap, rather than simply a course correction. It may be time to prepare for the next big step on your path; or, you may realize a new emotional intelligence or respect for the feminine. The messages of balance, equality, peace and partnership may be prominent.

Stephanie Austin, writing in the February/March, 2014 edition of The Mountain Astrologer, advises:

“Use this New Moon to tune into the core of your being, which is in touch with the core of the Earth and the Cosmos. Your vision and purpose are an essential part of humanity’s journey. Prepare for takeoff, and bear in mind: ‘. . . it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to unravel and begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going. But the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you’re going, but you know that so long as you spread your wings, the winds will carry you.’ (C. Joy Bell)”

Peace.
