The Winds of Change

“When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.” – Chinese proverb

The winds of change – sounds great, a gentle breeze lovingly nudging you to a new, brighter world. The problem is for most of us it usually feels more like a Category 5 hurricane!

This month the Cardinal Grand Cross, a long awaited astrological configuration, is surely bringing winds of change to the lives of many. The energy is in place now and will peak mid to late April. The exact aspect dates are April 20 through 23. I wrote a detailed post concerning the grand cross here.

So, whether you are experiencing the gentle winds of change or a Category 5 hurricane in your life, what now? Will you attempt to build walls or windmills? Another way this configuration has been described is that it can bring breakdown or breakthrough to each of us and to the collective.

Breakdown often precedes breakthrough. Breakdown implies something needs to be blown away by that Category 5 wind. Imagine. In a Category 5 hurricane catastrophic damage will occur. What in your life would you like the hurricane to disintegrate and blow away? After the hurricane, the sun shines, a new day. Time to rebuild.

In these changing times, remember to make room, let go, see what wants to happen, see what wants to be released. Allow the winds, whether gentle or catastrophic, to bring in the new.

Peace.

Thank you for writing this as it really puts things into perspective. This time has been a crazy one for myself as well as many in my life. But I am already feeling the prevailing peace, the calm after the storm. There is a grounding and gained perspective I am very grateful to receive.

    Peace and Love!
