Here’s to the Crazy Ones

Cosmic_Journey_by_Poet1960[1]“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Apple, Inc.

The above quote comes from an Apple, Inc. advertisement. What fun if we all decided to live our lives “unplugged” as the Eagles’ album says. I want to be one of the “crazy ones.”

Thinking about this quote takes me to imagination. Isn’t that where it all begins? If I can surrender, let go, dream, imagine, not care what anyone thinks, totally free, soaring through the cosmos of imagination, downloading universal consciousness, or just plain having a great time day dreaming – I’m out! I really, really like it out here.

We are all here in this material, earth reality – feet on the ground – pay the bills – raise the kids – make the grades – you can add to the responsibility list. I get that.

And, we are spiritual beings. We come from the stars – made of stardust (if you believe the big bang theory!). Being human is a balancing act. In our society we are way out of balance. Too much responsibility and too little imagination. Let’s change all that.

An imagination revolution. “Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Peace.
