Radical Change

Pluto and Uranus, two planets known for ushering in change, will be in each other’s neighborhood again later this month (November, 2014). They have been dancing in and out of square (tension) with each other since 2012 and will be exactly square in mid-December – the sixth of seven squares between these two planets.

Change has certainly been in the air for most of us over the last two years.   Pluto is associated with breakdown and breakthrough, Uranus with sudden change.  What is ready to be brought up into the light of day and released?  Uranus wants freedom – from old out dated beliefs, actions or lifestyles.  These planets help us “become a better version of” ourselves.

In November, Mars gets into the act again. It will conjunct Pluto and square Uranus.  Time to “get real” as the old saying goes.  This energy will support us being completely honest with ourselves and others.

Saturn has been in Scorpio for the last two years. It moves into Sagittarius in December.  Scorpio is associated with metaphorical death and rebirth – what in your life has died or is ready to die so that you can be born into a new way of being?  Have you heeded the call?

Belinda Dunn in her monthly astrology newsletter (the link is at the bottom of the home page) says: “Pluto is about digging deep. Saturn is the discipline to do the work, and with Uranus don’t be surprised at what you find.”

Exciting time to be alive. Lots of planetary energy supporting change, evolution and growth.  I’ve always loved the following quote for times like these.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” – Anais Nin

Time to bloom!!

Namaste.
