Speak to the Listening Heaven

starburst-explosion[1]Speak to the Listening Heaven

“Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.”  — Rabindranath Tagore

We all are surrounded by abundance.  Isn’t it amazing – we live in this magical, beautiful place?  I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina – lots of trees and forest land.  Mother Nature is teeming with gifts.  Some of my most joyous moments are walking by the creek or through the woods in winter, smelling the fallen leaves.  As I’ve been sitting here writing this post, I’ve seen two squirrels, a red headed woodpecker and lots of other birds.  Nature is so alive. And, at peace.

At this busy time of year, consider spending some time in nature and “speak to the listening heaven.”

I agree. I live butted up against a 1000 acre preserve… I love walking the trails and getting away from everything.
